I loved this at first listen but it has grown so much I even like it more than Rush now. He’s coming to slay me again with his album. Oh wow

It might be the most TikTok/queer pop-ish song I've listened in a while. It's brilliant! 

I think the month and a half of teasing Rush made it sound dated a week after release tbh. And I got tired of it rather quickly. But with GMS, I find myself playing more and more as time goes on. A reverse Rush experience

i really like both songs, this is shaping up to be a great album. 

 

i hope this can do a bit better on the charts though, it deserves it (would have deserved it more if they only made the last chorus high-pitched and kept the rest natural tbh)

Just heard this for the first time and omg he's onto something. 2/2 yeah this album is going to be great.

 

The sample didn't help the song at all. 

I kinda live for the sample now especially during the bridge

 

Still wish he would make the sample less jarring and the chorus with no process vocal though. But this is better than Rush 

Got Me Started and Rush are both so addictive I can't stop bopping

He has some great music: Animal is a great track that's very endearing and has cool production choices. Rush is very infectious and fun. His contribution on 1999 and 2099 was pretty great. Also, the In a Dream EP, while not great, was leaps and bounds better than his previous work. 

 

I do agree Troye needs an album full of Rushs. Got Me Start is okay, but I hope there's stronger songs on the album.
