If Capitol sent this to radio instead of Rush 

Honestly as time goes on it just gets better and better. I stan one twink and one twink only. 

This song kinda won me over to listen to the full album. It's such a chill grower.

This is picking up some (presumably) spontaneous US pop airplay. It's appearing on the Taking Off chart and the Spincrease chart, so it's basically bubbling under the main chart.

 

Why does his label never send his songs to US radio? I remember the Ariana collab didn't get sent. There was a Kacey Musgraves collab that was scheduled to be sent and got canceled. And now he has 3 singles from the album that got a good response on streaming but radio isn't happening. It's not like these songs are avant garde and uncommercial. So... what gives?

Pop radio? Not really. Lil Nas X got 3 #1 pop hits with his last album. Unholy smashed. Bad Habit smashed.

 

Kim Petras' Alone went #25 even though it made no noise anywhere. Troye's My My My reached a similar peak despite also not making noise, but none of his own singles has been sent ever since. His new era is doing too well on streaming to be completely absent from radio.

It took nearly a month for me to un-hear (or re-associate) the sample but now I adore this

they're so slow tho (radio AND his label (for not sending the song already)), they should be focusing on OfYG now, it's doing well on streaming and has a bigger chance imo.

+ it just picked up 4 adds on pop radio.

 

Hope they do something with this early momentum

The way I've played the hell out of this and I'm not sick of it yet. Chorus of the year I fear.
