Oh trust me, I already know the answers of his fans. He is successful, but not to the point that it warrants paparazzi following him around. His brand only skyrocketed because of Kim. That's the hard truth.

Definitely his relationship with Kardashian helped him to stay relevant in the passage from iTunes era to social media. 

 

But It's something true for Kim too.

Kardashians were Just a Paris Hilton tabloids dumb phenomenon. With Kanye even the most important press started to treat them like this "relevant pop culture event with a lot of social and even in some way pop artistic meaning". She used that to try to became relevant in politics (you all forget her link to Trump thanks to Kanye?) and social issues.

 

Since She broke up with Kanye It's like She went back to be Just a reality show character and lost High society impact. She went from the White House and trying to be impactful in the riformations of prison laws (lol) to be on american horror story next season.

And the grew up of her followers Is sinking hard from some years ago standards.
