This is my favourite of all the new songs out today. It’s a relaxed bop suits Selena 

When I'm seeing the title i'm like "wait? new selena single? when?" but its actually a title

My only major problem is the vocal mixing on the Hook

He was loyal to Justin Bieber and also in a weird frenemyship with Charlie Puth so that makes sense.

 

I guess money talks? He did "Kill Em With Kindness", "Same Old Love", and "I Can't Get Enough".  Wasn't she also a finalist for Julia Michaels' "Issues" too?

I love the synth production and the melody is nice, but the chorus is a little bit hit and miss; too repetitive.

Listening Single soon back to back with Used to be Young is so satisfying (also adding the new Iggy song now and there)  

Is this her lead single ? 

 

It's a bit bland, the mixing on her voice is weird sometimes, she sounds really flat on the last note of some words. The chorus is pretty weak. The song itself is cute but it feels more like an album filler. The video is cute and Selena looks good.

Chorus might be lacking but it it so catchy, it's perfect for radios, and she looks amazing in the MV, the GP will love it.

 

Glad to see them pushing it correctly, she will do a great debut!

Well it's mostly Cashmere cat, who  reproduced it I think.

I'm sure Benny is on the credits because he did most of the demo from 2017

She hasn't released something so basic since Stars Dance (album).

 

Lucky for her, the GP adores her and her label is going off with the Spotify promo. She's gonna have a big debut and probably a hit.

This is just a flatline. The chorus is so weak you don’t even realize it’s the chorus. I thought it was a pre-chorus since it’s placed so EARLY in the song. The song is composed at 70% of the chorus (and 3 times unchanged). Such a same, the verses are GOOD.

 

The chorus being in two parts and longer than the verses is the problem for me. They should have cut it, made the first part the pre-chorus and the second part a real chorus with a more exploding production. It just falls flat here.

i hope they release the karaoke backdrop as the lyrics video 

It’s giving Carly Rae a little but no complaints. It’s a cute bop, I can see it becoming a moderate hit / big on Tik Tok

This is super cute, it's a little repetitive towards the end, it needed ad-libs or a slight production switch in the background.
