No. Chromatica can't even come close to RENAISSANCE and thinking otherwise is literally embarrassing. Delete this thread. RENAISSANCE is a masterpiece. Chromatica is abomination of an album.

No, Renaissance is leagues above Chromatica, in fact it makes the album look extremely amateur and laughable in comparison.

Nobody is actively thinking about Chromatica in the year 2023 outside of a niche group of people on stan Twitter and ATRL /end thread

Ya'll are doing way too much on Little Miss Chromatica... jeez 

 

There's overlap in the soundscape, producers/co-writers and general themes so comparing them isn't that outrageous or insulting. 

 

I can appreciate Renaissance is the objectively better album but I personally prefer Chromatica and that's perfectly fine... just be thankful that both projects shed some light on a genre of music (90's house) which has long been dormant. That's a win in itself.

Renaissance is Top 30 on Billboard 200 after a year

 

Chromatica wasn't Top 200 after 41 weeks

Yes, the album and the tour, from the visuals to the musical influences/styles are similar yet different in their respective ways. Both solid eras imo

Production wise Renaissance obviously is better while Chromatica has better/more interesting lyrics and melodies.
