Omg it’s like if she just cooked these songs for 20 minutes longer the flavors would be so good. Idk if she’s just not collaborating with the right producers or if she is really just that kinda normal girl who dates NBA players and parties at TAO. Also those poor dancers having to style themselves. She can do and has done so much better

I really like this and TTMN as well but it feels like a step back from her trinity - Nightride, 333 and SFY obviously! Still really fun bops though and not like Pasadena is a good indicator of what 333 was.

i’m guessing this is gonna be her caprisongs era cause y’all are really doing her the same way y’all did twigs  

 

anyway, this is a cute, fun little song. nothing more, nothing less.

Her going independent has been the biggest mistake. Her music has gotten worse. Even though her label did her dirty with promo at least her visuals were better. These visuals have been so lackluster.

Absolutely not. 

 

Those "better visuals" (Which is a subjective) for her freedom is a small price to pay. She was MISERABLE with her label. 

 

And her music "has gotten worse" is just straight up bullshit considering SFY and 333 have higher Metacritic rankings. 

 

One misstep from Tinashe should NOT invalidate the years and years of impeccable work she has in her discography.

 

I'm completely confident that the whole album will be as great as all her other albums, she's an album artist people!

i love it!  I'd like a bridge but i can forgive the one verse bc the chorus is so good and she doesn't rlly repeat anything

I love Tinashe but i have to be honest. Im not really vibing with this new sound-record  Hope the B-sides are better. 
The songs from this era are giving me some Songs for You vibes-Urban-minimal vibes and i dont like that record that much.
I love 333 better and her sophisticated dancey production-maximalist one. Singles like Bouncin and X are epic. The videos damn. 
There was also rumours of a whole dance record and i was hyped about that. 
I love her blonde hair-new aesthethic but i didnt like the talk to me nice video that much. Love this video of Needs but not vibing with the song

Even if Tinashe flops with this era im totally sure she will give us good artworks. The Caprisongs COver is one of the ugliest i ever seen on my whole life.

Nah, we still love her and TTMN is still 11/10, but this song is... not interesting in the slightest. It's like everyone and their mothers is rehashing this kind of beat. At least add some flutes or something.

Now y’all are doing TOO MUCH!

This is very enjoyable but I expect more from her - her singles can be a bit inconsistent though. 

This is a BOP. It also takes more than one listen to really get it + the video elevates it so much.
