I personally prefer SOS, but I can understand why most would prefer CTRL. It sounds like a classic and is more consistent, sonically, whereas SOS is more of a mixed bag. SOS has more attitude, though, imo.

Good Days eclipses anything on CTRL, but CTRL as a whole is better

Pretty much

nothing’s touching CTRL, it’ll be forever one of my faves but with that being said SOS is an amazing album too

CTRL >>>

SOS is better but there are 6 years plus of CTRL nostalgia so CTRL will win

I enjoy the production on CTRL more.

There's no Drew Berrymore on CTRL, no Love Galore, Broken Clocks, Garden, Normal Girl.. I mean look at the material

ctrl is more consistent and has better highlights but f2f is probably szas best song

This. SOS has very high highs but CTRL as a body of work just screams classic.

+1

CTRL by miles >>>>>>>>>>>>>

by this point CTRL is still on heavy rotation and got better each listen while SOS already aged for me rn

Normal Girl alone >>>>

Objectively, SOS is probably better, but I’m with most of the comments: CTRL just holds a special place in my heart. I dealt with f-boys and feeling out of place in my early-to-mid 20s, so I truly related to that album when it came out.

Both are great albums!

I understand why y'all love Ctrl, I really do, but that album aged terribly for me

SOS >>>

SOS has higher highs but the first half feels like a compilation album. CTRL is more consistent but honestly that is not enough to make it stronger overall for me.

I’d say they’re equally impressive. She did what she had to do on both.

CTRL aged like fine wine for me, every time I revisit it it gets better and better

SOS was more immediate for me but didnt have the same staying power.

Honestly, this too - it depends on what stage you’re at in your life. I actually feel like SOS is subtly much more spiritual and “a journey” than CTRL even tho that’s not obvious on the first couple of listens. there’s definitely an emotional journey there.

SOS. I never really got into a lot of the songs on CTRL.
