This isn't as instant to me as her other singles. It's not bad. But it's gonna have to sit with me. The direction definitely feels like it's going to be a continuation of SOUR.

Ok I swear I'm not trying to start a "she copied someone!" thing (I have many posts on here about how I think she shouldn't have given Taylor writing credits on Deja Vu and I don't think Paramore should have credits on Good 4 U either)... but does the build up in the chorus remind anyone else of The Joke by Brandi Carlile nnn

It’s not going to be overdone. Evanescence doing it with “My Immortal” didn’t lead to a rush of songs doing it. This won’t either. It will be used sparingly. It works with Olivia.

Dan is known in indie scenes from the 2000s. Hes crossover as the producer of one of the biggest pop stars of this decade is a nice twist. And the melody is straight mid-2000s indie rock. Rilo Kiley, Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire, The Shins

WOW  VW was one of my fav bands throughout grade school, I go way back with my old stan card with them to when they started out in Wellfleet. wow i can’t wait to listen to this song now!! i’ll listen in an hour or so

The song is really good from the 2nd chorus and on  The beginning was a little off putting 

I cannot believe she actually met expectations.  I was ready to be disapointed but this ***** scalped us
