Despite ATRL's constant number chery-picking and stan waring, it is undeniable that Gaga, Beyonce and Taylor are slaying with their tours, especially considering they are older-gen pop girls now. 

Can their peer Perry make a touring comeback like them?

I‘m not gonna pretend that she‘s suddenly gonna sell out stadiums but the public is aware that she always puts on a spectacle of a show, she‘s still a household name and her catalogue of classics is dearly beloved. So if she‘s going to market it right with a focus on her older eras (like the eras tour) while still seeming trendy & kewl (Make Tik Toks, sell cool Cali Gurls t shirts, etc) I don‘t doubt she would fill arenas all around the world even without a smash album.

No, Prism tour only did well because she was current
 

She just does not have the pull or legacy that Gaga, Beyoncé, Taylor, P!nk, etc have and that won’t change unless she makes a huge comeback 

Katy's a beloved live performer so I believe in her. She's known for her colorful theatrics, campy fun and good interaction with the audience. 

I think she could in the US. I don’t know if she enough demand left in Europe

She can have great arena tour in Europe, Australia, and latin America even with somewhat successful one single followed with an album like Chain to the rythm and Never really over.

 

Not sure if this would be enough for US

Gurl Miley was current as well and her Bangerz tour was not nearly as huge as the PWT. Witness The Tour ‚did well‘ too despite it being her flop era so idk what ur point is.

Bangerz was after a flop era and driven by controversy

 

Prism was after 2 successful eras, it did well at the time but the Witness tour didn’t. She struggled to sellout arenas and it proved she’s not a touring force without a successful era. 

I would go to an arena tour for sure, Katy can actually sing live, I don't understand the acrobatics over her being some talentless MPG when she has a PEN and VOICE, period

She lacks the vocals i fear

 

And without the props, she is not much of a performer..

 

But she has a catalogue of hits

Right? Prismatic Tour was at the level of the highest tours of all time at that point and even Witness did great. She's a dedicated live performer and has the global reach to tour multiple continents for sure.  Downplaying her is getting tiring. 

 

 

She has a reputation of putting on amazing shows and being an incredible performer
Even smaller artists are selling out arena tours so I can't see why she can't sell a world arena tour.

 

Her shows are great but I doubt they could sell out stadiums but she could do arenas, especially since she hasn't toured out of US for like 5 years.

i don’t see katy making any sort of comeback in anything unless someone (like taylor) collaborates with her and makes her relevant again 

I fear she spent too many years as a TV judge. Why go out and pay to see someone when they were in your living room everyday for years for free? 

I love her but her small capacity vegas residency shows are struggling to sell out 

so I don’t know how she could possibly sell out an arena.

 

I feel like she should start working the festival scene and grow a new fanbase and the rest will follow. 

I could see her doing like a nostalgia tour like the Backstreet Boys did a few years back or like taylor swift has been doing with the Eras tour tbh

Her 2nd tour did ~$59m, which is okay for someone who was just starting out in her career (usually artists who were grossing well, had a legacy behind them atp)

her 3rd tour was a major success..numbah one female tour that year (and top5 overall)

her 4th tour was okay for the underperformance that she had

 

Okay, Play residency is rly not that much of a success..but she will still prolly gross decent if she comes back

Like I wouldn't expect Legacy numbers..but she still will do more than most nostalgia acts imo

Katy is on the verge of completing one of the most successful residencies in history.
