She was also one of Sony’s highest earners with both HP and PH.  They can afford to spend a bit on her now, lol.

 

When you think about it…Doja had very little investment upfront because she was never pushed by the label… until Say So blew up on TT.  And she’s had hit after hit since then.  
 

Compared to other artists, highly doubt they’re in debt over Doja Cat.  They got lucky.  

Damn, this era/album will be one for the music history books if they'll be as good as this. 

Tbh I prefer the placeholder cover.

Well, her tour got cancelled twice (COVID for Hot Pink and Surgery for Planet Her with The Weeknd)

They should have lost a bit money I think

This is really cool, I like it a lot!

I wish the song had the entire vibe of the intro and the “love me” part. The rap verses really drag it down for me

I would have loved a Lauryn Hill verse on this track.

Getting major Little Simz vibes and that's no shade. Wouldn't mind seeing a collaboration between the two. 

Everything about this is perfect  her flow, the video, the single cover.

Lmao, I never said they're not trying to make money, I said they're probably going to try and build hype for the album to sell long term and have it be acclaimed as part of the marketing as opposed to making this specific single a quick hit. It's obviously their job to promote it but I don't think it's going to be a Say So type of promo campaign.
