  • And yet Attention and I am not a woman, I’m a god are easily their best material.   Two days of a song not demolishing the charts are really enough for some of you to start putting down girl

I feel like girls like her and Halsey try too hard to earn respect and it just doesn't work like that for pop girls like them

You can tell who’s never listened to a specific side of rap aside from Nicki and whoever else is popular from it on a mainstream level. If you get it, you get it. :bird:

oh my god that nicki line is literally her imitating the way people talk about her, the lack of comprehension skills is truly baffling :rip:

Something about this gives me such an Eminem vibe. I swear she has channeled so many of the greats. Let’s not forget the Kendrick flow on Rules! She’s mother

I will say, her international pop fans aren't gonna use this. This is a US urban-only type of hit, but it's still a very good song that should bring her more respect and acclaim

I love this but for her saying she wasn't doing pop on her album...this is a pop / rap song. Verses are super rap but the chorus is pure pop, sounds a bit like a Grimes song

Its giving sneaker pimp vibes -- i think its a great song but I just don't know if it will land and I actually don't think she cares at this point.

My friends are already saying this is disappointing because they were all expecting pop bangers :deadbanana4:

I see the vision but the production needs a bigger bite (esp on the rap verses). I fell asleep love u Doja :biblionny:

It’s not a hit sadly. Hope she proves me wrong though.

It sounds more like a buzz single in the vein of Lookin Ass.

Woah, did not see this coming, I thought I was listening to the wrong song at first. It's pretty good, I respect this ambitious leap she took, it's a risk.

The production is reminding me of old school rap with the soft piano touch. Love the chorus too, definitely getting Sneaker Pimps vibes like someone mentioned.

I really like this actually, I have to agree with others it doesn't come across as lead material, but still a very good track. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

Apparently MV is directed by Tanu Muino (Call Me By Your Name, Wild Side, Up, As It Was)

I think this is her "break my soul" as in its probably the best introduction to her new sound even tho its not the best song on the album

Sneaker Pimps :WAP:

It really isn't lead material to top charts but it's def a vibe. I'm glad she's releasing more vibe-y music

i can definitely see the "look at me, look at me, you looking?" part go viral on tiktok for some reason. I feel like a top 10 debut is a given.
