"It's Not That Deep" Appreciation Thread
Literally her best album it's truly a shame it did not get the love and support it deserved. I'm not being biased when I say this but this has been my favorite album from last year and this year. It's hard picking a top 5 because it's such a masterpiece of an album. 1. Low Rise Jeans 2. Pretty Catatonic 3. Love Controller 4. Fantasy 5. Let You Go Honorable mentions: Here All Night, Sorry To Myself, Confetti & Frequency. Like I said it's hard to pick just 5 because the album is immaculate

ADÉLA - 'PRIMA'
I don't think it's being "too much" when some of us have been fans of her prior work. KGB came out and made us believe that she was going to continue with that sound for her debut. It's okay to not like something when it feels ungenuine, faceless and also generic. Like I said I get that they obviously are trying to gain appeal with the GP, which sucks that that's how things have to be with artists. It just feels like a project that could've literally been put out by many other pop girls. There's nothing on that album that stands out and says, "That's an Adela song" aside from KGB and NastyDirtyGross (which didn't even make it to the standard). It's not a terrible album, it's just not great.

Rebecca Black - 'Age of The Exhibitionist'
Finally got around to listening to this absolute pop masterpiece, oh Ms. Black This is the kind of project I expected from Adela, who ended up giving us the most generic, faceless album to come out this year. Rebecca deserves to smash and deserves all the recognition. This album is excellent from start to finish, wow AOTY indeed

Yikes... I- After reading all the comments I went into this with lower expectations and oh boy... The fact this album opens with KGB feels so misleading for what's to come. I definitely got Ariana, Tate, Britney vibes from this. Nicole Kidman sounds like something from Positions, Boys has Britney written all over it, Red Bottoms, Hitachi and Starving Artists are very Tate coded. The thing is I honestly don't hate this album, is it great? No, sorry it's really not. Is it terrible? No, it's just extremely generic and does not feel like an Adela album. It's like they completely wiped away any identity she had. I'm the Man is a complete chop, who tf let her release this song. Hitachi is kind of pretty but boring also? Therapy another chop. The fact that Marijuana is that short is an absolute CRIME. I get that they're probably trying to make her music more appealing to the GP, but damn... I'll be replacing a lot of tracks with stuff from the EP and try to get my hands on DirtyNastyGross to add. Guess we'll patiently wait for her second album- ADÉLA - "Nicole Kidman"
I don't hate it, but this is not what I was expecting it to sound like at all... Where tf is the Adela that gave us Superscar and SexOnTheBeat- Sexy Adults star Jack Innanen "I'll be showing hole" on instagram
