You are right. Renaissance is a nice album, but B'Day is an experience. She didn't miss on that album, whereas she did several times on Renaissance.

Lowkey...B'day is peak beyonce back at that weird transition period between the naiveté of debut and the calculated 'iconography' of IASF, when she just had to make a fun POP album and delivered

Renaissance is cool but still has this heavy cloud of 'politicking' hovering over it which is hard to ignore, but CUFF IT and VIRGOS GROOVE go against most of it so who cares...

Glad to see B’day finally gets the recognition it deserves

but Lemonade is second best

Bday was better lyrically

but Renaissance has better production . I think I like Rene better even though Bday will always be that girl

SO AGREED. B'DAY IS HER BEST ALBUM EVER. :jonny4:

She will never top Freakum Dress and Suga Mama.

I mean, of course, but only because B'Day is her best album.

Everyone knows, out-of her pre-self titled albums, that B'Day is the best and IASF is the worst.

I enjoy them both for different reasons. It really depends on my mood.

While I love Renaissance, this is true. Although B'Day is lowkey her best album anyway... :chick1:

Bday as an era defined Beyonce as an artist and performer i think. I feel like she suddenly matured and became a more serious act with Sasha Fierce.
