I say it was a modest hit in the UK. That's the market they were targeting with their cancelled reunion. 

But why? the gays are the only one streaming that song in the first place

sounds like any generic song you'd hear on the radio

This, we can only pinpoint songs that deserve to smash to the GP. If they choose to let it flop due to bad taste then it’s not our fault

It's a very generic bop! it slaps

They came back in such an excellent way, I can't help but wonder how the era could've turned out if it wasn't for Covid, etc.  

It’s an excellent campy bop. Was never going to be a big hit, but should’ve led to an album with more gay club bangers.
