This is a public forum where people can freely express their opinions, whether you agree or disagree. For the record, my post had nothing to do with Folklore & Evermore’s success.

 

I never stated anything negative about the success she garnered from Folklore NOR would I ever dispute the success she made from it. It deserved AOTY which I’m happy it won that category because it’s one of my favorite albums. It’s top 3 on my list, but it is not karaoke material which is the perspective I was coming from. Even all of my friends who attended the Eras tour, including myself, agreed. The songs from Folklore and Evermore did not match the same crowd energy for Fearless, RED, 1989, and Reputation. The fans in the stadium went wild for her older songs because they’re FUN to sing. Do you even understand what a “bop” is?

Why would she dumb herself down and repeat the past. She needs to be progressive and move forward, try new things

They meant done recording the rest of the Tvs. It's already been reported that all her albums are done being re-recorded and are just waiting for release.

I’m nervous about 1989 but Wildest Dreams (nearly identical) and This Love (an upgrade, love it more than I did before) sound really good. Maybe the other tracks will be fine…. I hope they’re perfecting/mastering them as best as they can until they’re ready to release.

Those 2 1989 tracks are the only re-recordings that I actually like tbh, I hated both fearless and red tvs. I'm guessing it's just cuz i'm used to the originals and how they sound but idk.\

Ah got it. I think artists might go back to the studio to work on the final details but if it's finished already then I guess it could be for a new era but I really doubt she is gonna start one soon

I need to re-listen carefully to everything Chris Rowe has worked on. As of this moment from what I can recall, I say only 30% of the tracks he’s reproduced sound good. He did a fantastic job on The Way I Loved You, This Love, and Untouchable. Those sound extremely close to the original, if not better. He did a whack job on Love Story TV. The vocal mixing on that song makes me really upset when you compare it to the Elvira Remix. You Belong With Me is borderline unlistenable. The instrumentation and vocals sounds off. It seems Chris Rowe gives certain songs better production treatment than others. A lot of them sound like they need more time in the oven. I don’t get why he fails to deliver consistency. If the songs aren’t ready, don’t rush to release. 
 

I noticed Elvira fully produced LS remix, but Chris Rowe co-produced on the RED singles. Elvira likely worked on the instrumentation while Chris likely did the vocal mixing on those which explains why they sound like 💩 Chris can’t handle the pop songs. Taylor should’ve paid Elvira to fully produce those.

Of course she has. That’s like the #1 symptom of a workaholic, they need to work nonstop so that they keep their brains busy and not overthink.
