Cover art of "Thank U, Next": a collage of various paper cut-outs that contain the song title, with a purple filter overlaid on top. A kiss mark is placed on the top left corner.Positions (single).png

Wait I need to change my vote to Positions for all that song sounds like absolutely nothing else.

TUN for all for me. She just served. Love when pop girls take all of the turmoil and put it in the songs. :clap3:

I always found Positions to be relatively forgettable in her discography of hits. Even 34+35 has more staying power imo.

With that being said, Thank U Next is my preferred choice of the two. Her lead singles aren’t usually the best ones on the album though, bar No Tears Left to Cry

:clap3:

tun's videos is truly terrible :deadbanana2:

it pisses me off thinking of the sweetener videos vs tun’s, I totally get different circumstances but tun’s videos were so beyond basic for her

OT: positions clears all thank you

Positions for all. TUN is an ass song, no wonder its recurrent streams aren't all that. Positions is an amazing song, that outro >

Also the TUN video purely relying on nostalgia and memeworthy content to save it, while positions had an actual concept that was related to the song itself

Positions for all, especially music video. Although Thank U Next is more meaningful as a song.

I loved TUN when it came out. Still do, but positions has more replay value to me these days. It's just a bop that I can listen to at anytime really and add it to any playlist. Like, I could play it alongside Flowers and Anti-Hero right now if I wanted.

TUN had the better video though. Both videos were great but I just enjoyed the TUN concept more. President Grande served though.

Positions has the better cover art. Blonde Ari was a slay.

Positions is the better song and production, but TUN has a killer synth line. Like it just hits all of the right spots

Positions for all except the music video - the tun video was such a moment.

positions just grew

that intro

that bridge

that adlibs

thought it sounded generic for Ari but it was that of a sleeper, still a FRESH bop

TUN is meh, even 7R is better.
