Guys i know he's very GP but he also has a big fanbase. 

His First 3 albums have insane streams even for the album tracks and divide was consumed as whole album in the First day/ weeks. 

 

You can't act like he is "the maroon 5 kind of artist" just trained by radios.

 

I don't expect #1 on 30 countries on apple music but not even in the top 80 in Italy after more than half a day seems pretty bad.

 

I have no doubt It can still a big success with the time.

The tiktok sound had like 900k videos last week... the thing is, no video was viral, just some really weird random videos with minimal views using it as background (many had it on mute)...

 

I predict payola will kick on soon and they will try to pretend it was viral from the start or something

I think this album sound was such a wrong move. He wanted a folklore moment but that's not what the GP wants from him. Ed spent the past 6 years chasing the generic up-beat pop sound, and now his audience is accustomed to that.

Bad Habits and Shivers became global hits and y’all said he was over😆

He has the same label as Dua. We all know what they're capable of when it comes to forcing a hit. This will have over 1b streams in no time
