Career? Miley. And if you disagree, you’re simply delusional. Miley was the most famous teenager in the world from age 12 to age 18. Ariana has maybe sold more if you don’t count Hannah Montana for Miley, but as an overall career, you can’t compete with being the lead in one of the biggest shows of all time. 
 

Miley is 17 years into her career and she got a multi-week viral smash #1, I fear.

the way i was dragged through the mud cuz i've said at the last thread, during flowers release week, that even miley having high peaks the answer was ariana "for sure" and now ariana will EASILY win. 

most of ATRL'ers just can't see the full picture right? how most of u just DELETED miley's career from 2014 to 2020 from the memory cuz of one super smash, Flowers. 

 now after the album debut it already switched...

Miley has an objectively bigger career, however Ariana is way more consistent and I think is more respected by the industry as a whole; I could see Miley continuing to win more goodwill as she gets older though with the trajectory she's on rn 

Ariana wouldn't exist without Miley so Miley.

miley was a teen sensation way bigger than any of her peers 

but i think during TUN it easily reached a point where ariana's years of slayage just wins the fact that Cyrus was a teen sensation.

Some things are measurable, it's not a feeling or an opinion, Ariana's obviously had a bigger career, she has the peaks, the acclaim, the respect, the chart success, the streaming records, Miley had pure sales and a celebrity peak, but it's past and it was short lived, one fluke doesn't say much.

Miley was a big teenage superstar but in their adult phase, Ariana is bigger and more consistent with her success. If they both release an on the same day in the last 7 years till now, Ari will conveniently outsell and top Miley on the chart. 

Career includes Hannah Montana, so it should be Miley.

if CAREER implies since debut, 360 degree, all encompassing... as of right this minute is Miley Cyrus purely because of Hannah Montana and the absolute global craze that was (and the fact that she had about a seven year head start).

 

If you mean who is a bigger artist right now in the global music space? It's clearly Ariana and has been consistently since 2014.

 

As soon as Wicked drops it will be Ariana overall.

As we don't have the real numbers, let's say it doubled its worth by the end of it, which was the very beginning of 2011 (exactly two years from the first report).

 

Ariana's perfumes line surpassed $1 billion sales in 2022, since then she has launched two more successful fragrances, and Cloud, the best selling perfume at ULTA (30-60$) sells one bottle every 11 minutes according to reports. Add the beauty line which is a discrete success and the music merchandising and she's easily outdoing that, especially considering Ariana's business is expanding day by day and Miley's been over for a decade!
