Amerikkka’s golden child will be #1, and TWICE has been powerful for several years now. Miley will be getting her biggest first-week sales in years, so she’s still in a good place.

Morgan is racist, TWICE is racist, American love racist, that's why.

 

 

Flowers was a fluke and you can't autoplay an entire album. 

Because there are two other artists who sold more 

Milegend. Numbers mean nothing. Her album is amazing

Because kpop fans buy any garbage their favs put out and red america loves racist wallen and his 100 track album of the same song rehashed over and over 

It would be #1 in any other week of the year so far except for this week and last week

I feel like Flowers was massively payola’d on streaming. 

Because it’s the third most streamed and purchased album of this week. Do you need more clarification? 

Let's reminder her past debuts:

 

2017 - Younger Now: 45k

2020 - Plastic Hearts: 60k

 

The fact she's potentially debuting with 115-130k - more than combined of her 2 past debuts

 

And Plastic Hearts had decent longevity, I can see SV having similar

I had hopes Miley might surprise by getting nearer to her Bangerz opening, but then I’ve not been engaged with how the rollout is going and it’s probably because aside from Flowers…there hasn’t been one? And if someone who hangs around on pop cultural forums doesn’t feel an album’s presence then I doubt more casual consumers would. She really should have dropped the whole LP when her New Year’s performance was still viral alongside the lead smashing or have pushed a second single and released in summer.

 

Either way she’s still on track to double Plastic Heart’s opening, has one of the biggest songs this decade so far and of her career, and I imagine her touring power will increase on the back of that. Being this long in the tooth in pop and to experience a rebound in sales growth / power to that extent is still no small thing, and she is still young. She could easily re-release later in the year as well for more chart points, but I don’t think she is interested in that. What we’ve got is what we’ll get.

All I can say is dont count Miley out just bec of a disastrous debut. She already slipped almost every facet of her career and yet she always comes back strong. 

The fact that she could’ve been #1 the same week that Karol G dropped her album
