SOUR, bur only because it’s more important to Olivia’s career than Midnights is to Taylor’s.

Midnights feels like a non-event in real life.  Havent heard anyone talk about it and I barely hear AH being played anywhere. A BTS era tea

 

G4U and DL were literally everywhere for months, Olivia was inescapable in 2021

Both are probably the two biggest eras of the 2020s.  Midnights was big because the artist.  Olivia became big because of Sour.  So they serve different roles in the artist’s discography.  Right now I think Sour will be bigger but who knows at this point.

How are we gonna compare an album that's been out for 3 months to one that's been out for 2 years? Make it make sense. 

 

I don't get why we'd compare a tenth Album Era to a debut

It’s more impressive for Taylor to be competitive at this point.

 

But Midnights has been labeled as the biggest era of the last few years, and SOUR and WWAFA are up there too.

Probably Sour, the album is way past the 10 million units, Midnights is at 6 million but 4 million is a big gap, especially with the insane longevity Sour is serving 2 years in.

Midnights is a mediocre album.

Sour for now. Let's see if Midnights will get bigger once the tour starts.

I think it was fair to believe the first few weeks of release that it was going to be the biggest era of the decade, the hype was insane.

 

Now I believe in the long run Folklore will end up bigger since longevity will be on its side because of the quality. Midnights is not a good album.

 

An yeah FM, SOUR and WWAFA will probably be bigger too.
