shocked because the song is blah but am glad shes seeing success she didnt deserve the weird place shes been commercially for the last like 10 years

Everyone on here dragging her for the past 10 years calling her a has-been and someone nobody checks for anymore and now everyone's acting like "she's riding on the coattails of plastic hearts no surprise here"

Plastic Hearts was a good well received era imo and the people that loved/liked that Album obviously went to stream/check for Flowers? 

We love to see it! I expected it to do well, but I did not expect it to do this well.

The fan fictions in here when the GP thought Midnight Sky was a nice sized hit during the pandemic that most people forgot in favour of her Heart Of Glass cover and now the Dolly collab in NYE.

Is that not how music works? I do think people who liked Plastic Hearts did in fact stream this song 

No she just needed hype and a competent label. She has both this era!

She had Midnight Sky and then that Dua Lipa collab to carry through a pandemic. That album is 99% forgotten now like most things that came out during the pandemic sans Future Nostalgia. Not y'all implying the GP remembers the album and that's why they're streaming Flowers. She had a massive PR campaign including the NYE special and the cryptic messages on social media right when the Dolly performance went viral, equal that to the obvious Liam references and her pulling out her pilates skills for 3 minutes on the music video and... voilà.
