This is a Meghan Trainor song without any of the camp. 

Hate to say it. But NMIXX ate  The way it’s better than Set me free. Not them getting the better song. They’re in their cheer up 

The NMIXX sing just lacked any personality/ novelty, the visual screamed TripleS meets Newjeans and the music is just an Ariana Grande focus era reject, there is nothing original/ interesting

I mean if she's planning to follow this song up with a bop single, then it kinda makes sense to put this out.

 

The song is quite good and it's showing a different side of her. I'm interested to see what kind of direction she's chosen for the main song. I hope it's another Barbie/Nirvana Girl style bop.

I feel like the song is just "okay" in a basic/unoriginal kind of way. It's at least better than the "7 terrible demos smashed together into 1 song" concept they were doing before.

 

It's frustrating because for example Lily can actually sing. But the group has no real direction.

 

Also seems like JYP cut down the budget because that MV was so cheap looking

You can try creating a new account and checking Autoplay or even disliking songs and seeing if they still come up to see if labels are part of Discovery Mode. Any artist that blew up after 2020 is basically using it and it’s obvious. It’s not shady if everyone uses it, but I think it’s stupid to compare artists that don’t use it to artists that do. Like I would never compare streaming numbers for an artist from RCA to someone like The Weeknd who has the most aggressive Spotify push ever.

The Bsides from the mini are actually pretty good; but they have no sense of direction for the most part. Great voices and pretty talented girls; but they don't have much synergy with each other.
