You just have to check k hip hop/urban songs to see that OMG is just a basic rnb tune and Korean are familiar with this sound.

people think OMG is unique but that’s a typical k-R&b song it just that most of those songs aren’t really mainstream in Korea

It's true they're not really an rnb group but in the sphere of kpop they're considered that which makes sense. They kinda just fuse a whole lot of genres but with their main influence being rnb.

only Cookie and OMG sound a bit like Ariana bc of the trap beats but Ariana wouldn’t literally put those songs out, they’re still kpop’d

 

also Love Dive has the be the most overrated song here, it’s great but the bridge sucks, the post chorus isn’t the most interesting and After Like is a much bigger bop

Haerin might just be my favorite 4th gen idol

 

Not sure why because I don't think she's the best singer, dancer, nor does she have the best stage presence but her aura just makes me feel so drawn to her, more so than any other idols out there now
