Yeah it just sounds like investor talk to me, to get the share prices going up etc. Especially since they're trying to finalize the sale to Kakao.

 

Considering last year, Girls (aespa) and Birthday (RV) were MONTHS late and even other projects like WayV and Key's repackage were delayed etc. I don't think it's realistic, although SM puts out far more content than any other similar company.

 

We know that the management is changing soon, so I feel like it's going to be an awkward year for the company.

Birthday, GOT the beat and NCT bombing harder than ever got SM scared cause that's exactly the kind of music they had prepared for aespa

ig i'm not as affected by the constant delays since newjeans are around to take their spot, just like aespa was when Loona were falling apart

At least one member in NCT will probably get a full solo debut at some point soon too

 

SM usually starts giving them around the 7 years point...so maybe Mark or Taeyong or Jaehyun or Doyoung etc.

 

OT: Also Hitchhiker left SM last year and moved to HYBE

SM definitely fumbled the bag last year with Girls and not following with another album on Q4 like it was originally planned. Still they got a decent hit with Illusion in the end. But it's not an aespa boycott thing when literally every other SM acts got the same treatment.

This was literally a decade ago and the only people outraged were her uncle stans and pick me girls who thirsted for Super Ahjussi

IplagiarizeU has had countless national hits since then and got a lot more respected as a songwriter (some even say this scandal was deliberate to shake off her innocent Nation's little sis image, and it worked!)
