I don't think LSRF has surpassed IVE yet on Spotify. After Like peaked at like #23 (?)

AF has surpassed AL’s streams being released 2 months after so definitely bigger.

Kai is definitely in the MV, Chanyeol was on the MV and literally shaved his head after he finished filming on the set of it, he was also on album, EXO have most definitely finished the album, and yesterday Kai spoke about filming an MV yesterday, SM is most likely running around trying to get his cuts before he leaves

IVE has 3 smashes. Let’s wait until LSRFM consistently outdo before making a claim like that :deadbanana4:

Eleven > Fearless

Love Dive > Antifragile

After Like had a bigger start than Unforgiven so far :michael:

ive are bigger and better so far but lsrf can still catch up if we get more antifragiles

Whoever rigged Chaewon did God’s work :heart2: thank you for giving us the standout of LSRFM!

Exactly! They had a VISION for her and it paid off

Fearful and fragile haters can keep fuming

So? Bc as far as we can see IVE’s bsides aren’t doing the numbers LSF are doing.

AF is bigger than LD tho. 30M difference in streams with a 6 month difference and AF pulling much more

Stop with this bs already. Chaewon is an electrifying performer and she was already known because of IZ*ONE. It was a very obvious choice for a center

??? Being the best performer alone doesn't make someone the center. It's not about who serves the most energy, it's about who best commands attention, especially off stage. They're supposed to get random articles about their airport fashion etc written about them to keep the group's name in the media. If being the most skilled performer = center, irene, yoona, jennie, krystal, rowoon, minhyun, etc would never have been the center of their groups. They don't even actually need to have the most center time, what's important is that they get the start/end of the title tracks, because those are the parts that leave the biggest impression (which was what garam had).

Of course there are cases where the ace becomes the center, but that wasn't the case with LSFM (at least not at first).

can't get over how GOOD WTMW is :jonny5: honestly one of their best songs

like the production is perfect

Poor Kai. How can they draft someone with such short notice?

You keep telling yourself that 😐

You See, people never want to mention that. The only reason we know of her is that she was rigged. Everyone talks about the contributions, like yeah she does well but she technically shouldn't even be here. Someone hadn't given her that spot l, I doubt hybe would have ever signed her and it would probably be some other trainee would would be in lsfm.

Tzuyu and Jihyo are switched but overall I agree, great performer, not an it girl or a center, never will be.

This produce ranking discourse to drag Chaewon is so silly every time it’s brought up. Besides the fact that none of us have ever seen what the “real” lineup looks like, the Kpop industry is by nature not fair. Unfair decisions and actions are made all the time. It’s an unscrupulous industry where the real decisions are made by a bunch of middle aged men in suits and if you think every idol that wasn’t from a Produce show “deserves” to have made it to the lineups of their respective groups and no one else was ****** over on the way you need to be serious. Nothing you’re saying here counters the fact that people enjoy watching her on stage and listening to her voice. :gaygacat5:

i think globally IVE and LSRF are similar atm

Kitsch killed IVE’s hype a bit which explains their spotify numbers (though I AM daily streams are on par with AL)

the one day difference is due to AL debut numbers being much higher

Garam was never going to be a Jennie/Irene. Keep telling yourself that 😐

The charisma that emanated from this group is truly insane, a breath of fresh air in the gg K-pop industry.

While Chaewon/Yunjin might be the best performers out of LSRFM, you can kind of tell that Garam was supposed to be their it girl nominee (however even from pre-debut she had squandered her chances). It is kind of obvious with how they pivoted to Kazuha (and I kind of feel they are trying to get Eunchae for when she's an actual adult, kind of like what Starship does with Leeseo). Sakura is already a Japanese it girl, however I don't think she can grow much more, so HYBE wanted someone newer/fresher.

Whether she would've successfully become a Jennie/Irene is a different matter from how HYBE meant for her to follow in their footsteps though

I'm a sakura stan but even I can see the only thing built around her was their marketing strategy :rip: First member revealed and all that, but minimal lines, screen time, center time, etc..... She's not the center of the group's concept. She only got recruited for her fan base.

Lsrf concept change a lot during 2 years pre debut. At first ador and source create one group aka newjeans and yunjin probably garam. Then source sign sakura so they break off to two groups. As sakura as the first sure member, source have to pick the members to suit her so they try to grab more izone members, then bring yunjin back from US. Kazuha and euncha got add very late. So if they didnt sign sakura they wouldnt sign chaewon probably not yunjin either. The problem is sakura doesnt confident in herself. She doesnt want to be leader. She improves in dancing but her singing/rapping in limited. If she wants all center time she could have, she even have separate japan contract to do her solo work.

Completely agreed. It's not a coincidence that they suddenly switched up to more high energy concepts after garam got kicked.

Wrt eunchae, I think they tried it for a hot moment there with the antifragile intro, but I guess they didn't get the response they were hoping for, so now it's Kazuha's turn :gaycat4:

Ravi and BTS are going to h*ll btw

What?

I stan LSFM and don’t really care for IVE but I think as of now IVE is still bigger

I don’t think UF will end up being as big as AF or LD/AL but that’s okay, I think LSFM will have longevity in their career

Both will get obliterated by NewJennies anyway :skull:

Chaewon needs to dye or use extensions because she had the same hairstyle since debut and even if I love it she also looks so good with long hair and way more "innocent" something Koreans truly love

No bc it’s so unfair, it’s ruining everything :cries:…

His IG live was so sad. I really think Idol should enlist at 18years so it’s done
