I hope I don't play Stamp On It out before the official release.  Since the performance is uploaded on the official channel, do the views count towards the song's streaming numbers?

Stamp On It is really quite disappointing  it sounds like an AI produced song it’s so lifeless. The bad styling and choreo… none of them look like they want to be there either. Oh well. Step Back was quite the moment but this is not giving what it was supposed to unfortunately. Maybe there will be a good song on the mini. 

 

 

Only HYO and Seulgi Stand out they look clowns. Taeyeon and Wendy same haircut, BOA looks like an older version of Karina. Winter is basically Taeyeon’s child. 
 

the song is much better than step back but it will age in a week. One of the best lineups ever but the songs aren’t good, the stage presence 0/10. They were forced it’s obvious

But we know the artists themselves won't be promoting this and in that sense it's a shame. Aespa won't come back until SM squeezes all it can out of Stamp On It but Karina and Winter will be at the dorm jobless because King Taeyeon promotes even less than Boa does. No music shows, I bet. And nothing that's not  prerecorded SM produced content.

Y’all compare every song to NCT when it sounds nothing like them. A better point of reference would be “Obsession” from EXO. That’s one of my favorite EXO tracks but Stamp On It does it even better.

Girl, “Stamp On It” is not going to light up the streaming charts and it’s not catered to be a digital hit. It’s too long and not Hot Adult Contemporary enough.

Aespa is coming with a full album late February/early March. It’s not unusual for SM to have a quiet year and then serve tons of content the following year. They’ll reveal that they’ve been preparing for a tour, too. And I’m guessing they’ll probably have a mini in September/October.

Kwangya residents need to stfu and deal with the fact that they won't get a comeback before March/April and it will be another mini and no other comeback by the end of the year. Just how me as a blonk I know we will only get Jisoo's 2 song debut  and that's it from the pinks for the year.

In this case the NCT comparisons are somewhat valid because of the Dem Jointz production.

 

But it's not a bad thing in this case, they sound great on the song and the vocals definitely elevate it. Other companies could learn several things from the vocal production on Stamp On It

They don’t need to replace him. He literally served no purpose other than being a visual.

SM has this weird thing with oversinging and overproduction its insane. Its like they have all these resources, vocalists, production, that they're all trying to stack it all one over the other thinking its gonna be a good product. Absolute ZERO cohesion, less is DEFINITELY more and you can see it with the HYBE girlgroups.

 

YG is the polar opposite, while many consider them noise a lot of YGs sound is definitely minimalistic, lots of just bass and white noise + 808s. SM just abuses autotune, synthesizers and backing vocals like there's no tomorrow its crazy.

 

GOT has been 0/2 so far, Step Back was a dud and so was this.

 

On other news, can't wait for future GLOBAL girlgroup NewJeans next cohesive sounding smasha! They'll destroy Spotify with OMG I fear, see when you make a song that has an actual MELODY!

SM’s over-reliance on Western Producers has resulted in a very homogeneous sound for most acts — either a bunch of noise or a junky music production that’s saved by the vocal production. It doesn’t help that the acts don’t really have their own unique sound anymore either.
