If it underperforms then might be best to try a new group to win back the public. SM is clearly working hard for the new cb and they won't disregard it like they did with Girls (the song) so I don't think that'll happen

 

Cheshire, SMF and LMLT all about the baseline rather than the chorus. JYP needs to stop that trend

I’m sorry, but what do you think is the point of a record label? Like this is a business to make profit. Why would they shelve/not push a group who just sold 1.8M copies with a mini in order to have just one truly active group? Like wouldn’t it make more sense to have RV, Aespa and SMNGG active each with separate teams and all pistons firing?

No something feels different this time. NewJeans have solidified themselves, 5 Top 10 hits, the longest running Korean #1 on Melon and the first to K-Pop girl group to hit Top 10 WW Spotify after Blackpink? All six of their songs are still charting and they also helped bring back popularity for “Tell Me” too. No doubt Baemon will be big, but it will be tough for them to beat those goalposts.

bfr, no one ever considered stayc as one of the 4th gen leaders lol even before they gained their biggest hit with teddy bear, during asap they were not dominant enough to be considered as leaders, sure they are successful and still is but they aren't really close with other top 4th gen ggs and that's fine, for a non big 4 gg with no famous members before debut, they're doing pretty well and their next album is looking to sell 500k.

For me NJ will indeed be the #1 and I feel like SMNGG and Baemon will fight back and forth between each other but never reach the hugeness of NJ 

 

Excited for what's about to come in the future of Kpop

aespa, lesserafim comebacks are also very soon and NewJeans mark my words will make their comeback in June same as the month of the debut of SMNGG and probably Baemon too
