Well, the Weeknd collab is still pulling numbers and is the most streamed song on Spotify from that album, despite being "only" the 2nd single. Her feature on his song "Stargirl interlude" is having a million stremas per day for weeks and months now.

 

Her part in the Ariana song was the best thing about it.

 

The Taylor collab is fine. Nothing wrong with it.

Ariana was to blame for DCMA being lifeless, her collabs always are

 

Lust For Life and SOTB are cute songs

 

Major collabs in general tend to be mediocre and forced

SOTB is not mediocre at all. It's an amazing song. 

The only mediocre song there is DCMA. That post-TUN "era" still gives me nightmares.

 

SOTB is a great song because of despite the reduced Lana presence, and LFL is a fantastic collab.

I don't consider sotb to a lana collab though, she's just a backing vocalist 

lust for life is amazing and stargirl despite being an interlude is massive

I like all 3 songs. DCMA is mindless fun, while the other two are great dreamy pop songs.

Because she is a better soloist and tends to outshine others lyrically. That’s probably why taylor didn’t give her a full verse, cuz she would’ve ate her up

DCMA - that’s not even a song it’s a generic pop song + random Lana bridge 

SOTB - Taylor was too scared to let Lana shine and easily outshine her

Yeah but that's Lana's fault for being a terrible artist. Taylor might be responsible for Lana's highest peaking song chartwise and gave Lana a spotify record. That's good since Lana only has(had?) one hit. 

I love LFL!!! It’s so underrated imo

 

The problem with DCMA is that Lana doesn’t really fit the song.

 

SOTB is really underwhelming, yep. We can barely call it a collaboration

and not to mention these pure excellence

 

Because she only collaborated with mediocre artists.

the other artists are unable to get on her level

Lust For Life, Stargirl, Hallucinogenics, Tomorrow Never Came, Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, Woman etc. are nothing near mediocre. DCMA is a mindless, fun pop song and I actually don't mind it either 

 

I agree that SOTB is mediocre, but that's 100% on Taylor for demoting the superior artist to the background. NYT was right to lash the song for that.

Lust For Life (song) is great. If you want a more ~Lana version we also have the godly witchy demo (I think she'll officially release it at some point):

 

 

LFL & SOTB aren't mediocre. Only DCMA is but her part is quite good.

Max Martin butchered Lust For Life and the song is still good, the demo clears
