And I think it’s time we have that conversation. I fear that people rate LOUD higher because it was a way more organized era.

But if we’re talking about musically, then TTT is taking it. I mean look at the material:

You Da One

WHYB

Talk That Talk

We Found Love

Birthday Cake

Drunk on Love

Watch n Learn

Do Ya Thang

:WAP:

Yeah we all know people love Loud for its imagery, singles and overall promotion during that era but I do agree that TTT has a more balanced set of tracks, while Loud has very high highs. Man Down alone knocks everything from TTT.

And yes to all of those - aged like fine wine

Also, I love the vibe and fashion of that era so much:

LMFAO absolutely not, the delusion displayed in this thread :skull:

TTT is one of the most filler albums Rihanna has put out, only the first half of it is good.

On the other hand, Loud has multiple hit songs so clearly there was more single potential in it than TTT could ever dream of.

And Do Ya Thang is nothing more than an average track, I don't get why it's a fan favorite. :psyduck:

Aesthetically yes.

Musically.... I mean Man Down alone >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yes. TTT has kunty bops like Cockiness, Birthday Cake, Watch N' Learn, Do Ya Thang, the title track, Roc Me Out and the cute ballad, Farewell.

LOUD aged like milk. A lot of it sounds painfully dated now.

Loud was OK. Talk That Talk is her 2nd best album after Rated R!
