Liar definitely had to be from the Descansos sessions, right?

Kelela ended up overshadowing this a bit for me but still such an excellent album. Definitely their most cohesive/consistent, and their most experimental as well  C'est Comme Ca was an instant fave from the singles and is probably still the best here, but Figure 8 and You First are incredible and other highlights

 

Impossible to rank their discography... think self-titled is still my fave but this is up there with BNE/Riot and easily better than AL/Debut

i became a fan last year from brand new eyes so i was excited about this album but i hate everything about it

This was so so so so so so good. So happy to have them back. You first, Running out of time and Crave are fantastic. Can't wait to see them live next month!

After listening more I’m loving this album; it’s just so sophisticated and intimate and loud at the same time. It’s truly an experience that needs to be listened to fully.

I can't believe how good this album is.  I've always been more of a casual fan of them but after falling in love with Hayley's second solo album, they've been pulling me in more and more.  You First is particularly hitting for me today, what a banger 

I've enjoyed the album! My faves right now are Running Out of Time and Thick Scull but it's really great overall. It would sound awesome on vinyl. I think I'll get myself one

I... THINK I've finally got a top 5 (that I'm sure will change) for now? Title track, Running Out of Time, Big Man Little Dignity, The News, Figure 8... and then Crave, You First are right there... and I love Thick Skull and C'est Comme Ca too. Liar is still the only one that needs to grow on me a bit more, but probably just because it's "slower" than the other songs.
