Love this, glad they're back after all those years  I would say my early favorites are You First, Crave, and  Running Out Of Time.

i didnt like any of the singles but some user here said crave is decode 2.0 so i cant wait to listen

also.. not pitch4k giving them 6.3 and their metacritic score is 91

To be fair I said it’s like a dreamy, surfy decode and from the listening party :dancehall:, not straight decode 2.0 :toofunny2:

but it’s still amazing :jonny:

Holy crap, guys! This is probably their best work EVER, even topping self titled for me.

I can't put into words how proud I am of them and how far they've gotten with musicality and all the sh they've been through along their story. Specially Hayley.

Her vocals are phenomenal in this. She's singing better than ever and there were moments that I was in complete awe listening to this.

I love the dark, haunting yet upbeat vibe of the album. My favs are definitely You First, Figure 8, Crave, Thick Skull and The News (which stood out on the album listening for me compared to how I felt with is as a stand alone).

I will probably listen to this non stop for months. And for the first time, I don't think they'll ever top this album. A genius, intense and utter work of art. Wow

The singles being my least favourite songs- :coffee:

The album was a pleasant surprise tbh. I went in thinking I'd hate it and that's not the kinda mindset you want as a longtime stan. This is cute and perfect for the seasonal change.

Whoever said Crave is Decode 2.0...Specsavers do free hearing tests, sis.

"Running Out of Time" and "You First" are amazing, the standouts. "The News" remains a masterpiece.

Seeing them live in a month here in São Paulo. Getting hyped!

Crave's bridge is a CAREER HIGHLIGHT

Still can't hear it without tearing up

I'm both the killer and the final girl
So who, who are you?

maybe they made some poinTs :katie2:

actually love this even though i didn't care for the singles  their second best after self titled

C’est Comme Ça, This Is Why, Running Out Of Time, Figure 8 and Thick Skull are sooo good :jonny5:

Wait, I see amazing comments about it, maybe I'll give them a chance after not being not so surprised with the singles. :duca:

so concise, so cohesive, such an easy listen. bravo!!

Just came to say that Crave is their 2nd best song after 26 ok byeeee

still irks me a bit the sound quality isn't loud enough, I enjoy most of this still

Like this is their best album. Hayley, Taylor and Zac showed TF up and did the damn thing :jonny5:

It just gets better with every listen

The fact that it gets better with each listen :WAP: obsessed

Just popping in to say Crave is one of the best songs I've ever heard

Just started to play the album and... am I crazy or they did some tweaks on the title track and The News? I SWEAR TO GO THEY SOUND WAY MORE POLISH than when they originally released it.

And I'm playing the songs in the same Hi-Fi system. They sound more polish, better mastered. Tell me I'm not the only one who notices this lol

Well, first of all sound quality is not the same as VOLUME.

As a Kate Bush fan for a long time I learned the hard way that some producers (including Kate Bush herself) decide to sacrifice sound volume (making it lower to avoid clipping) in favor of sound quality as this helps every instrument to have more room to breathe instead of becoming pure noise and making the ears having a hard time to detect every instrument and sound.

If you are playing the album in Spotify, you can set the volume louder in the spotify configuration. In Apple I guess there's something similar (because iTunes had this for every each song manually).

:clap3:

this is such a great album :loki:

the second half (really starting with big man, little authority and everything that follows) is immaculate

CRAVE :jonnycat: needs to be a single

i enjoy the album a lot more than pitchfork but i don't necessarily disagree with some of their critiques. on the whole i think the lyrics are subpar but the album is so good otherwise that i can overlook that

Figure 8 is one of their best. very twilight soundtrack. i love it

It’s a pretty good album especially the second half of it but I do understand some of the criticism.

Crave is the one

Best way to describe the album, a blend of these songs:
- Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris
- 26
- All I Wanted
- Future
