The three last tracks are very much skips for me but the rest are good. The News is such a career highlight though.

I only save two tracks from this but even those two aren't memorable enough for me :chick3: I'll give it another try though but the singles were a big no for me already

The three last tracks are the highlight of the record. All career highlights!

I haven’t looked at any posts in here as I’m trying to avoid reviews before I’ve heard the album for myself, but I won’t be able to listen until later today when I’m home from work. I hope everybody is enjoying it and I can’t wait to listen! :WAP:

Let us know how that first listen goes!

OT: Pitchfork are such clowns. It's not even about thinking this album is incapable of being critiqued, more that their observations feel disingenuous. I mean the musical prowess on these songs alone (the progressions, the guitar melodies, the vocals, the playfulness with time signatures, etc.) is just in a league of its own when compared to other mainstream alternative bands. I mean, to be fair Panic! was dragged, rightfully, to h*ll and back for their latest effort, but still I can't help but feel like Paramore still has to fight against a certain stigma they've undeservedly had to carry for most of their career.

Either way, I'm so happy to see so much love for the album. It truly is a piece of magic :jamming:

this album is amazing :WAP:  it feels like an old school Paramore album but it still feels like an evolution for them. Crave is incredible :alexz:

I love them but this album didn’t really do much for me. Applaud them for nkt

going back to punk rock but dang

Enjoyed the album!

Is the Running Out of Time video teaser like directly referencing What You Waiting For? or...?

This album is for pretty girls only so if you don't like it, well... :giraffe:

I was shocked to see the reactions to this, and then I wasn’t.

In all honesty, the album is mature and a move away from the poppier side of Paramore. The production is stripped back and the lyrics are beautiful. An AOTY contender if the album was slapped with the “Taylor Swift” name on the cover.

The News, Crave, and Figure 8 are my personal highlights.

I just finished and I absolutely loved it. My standout at the moment is Big Man, Little Dignity. That song is just begging to be put on repeat. It could be one of the best songs they’ve ever done.

Current trinity are Big Man, Little Dignity, Liar and Crave
