Featured Replies

His hit songs are really bops but I find them kinda very basic except Hey Mama, do you agree?:chick1:

A lot of EDM DJs are basic but the GP eats it up

Yup, but he's the "most" basic imo

he is, yes, i can't think of a "unique" song from him, too generic

David is a pop eDM producer of course he’s basic but Calvin and Zedd are much worse

Sexy *****?

His discography has several classics and he explored almost all kinds of EDM sounds. Definitely not the most basic

No, he has many classics under his belt

To name a few.

There are many worse flavorless DJs, like The Chainsmokers, Marshmello or Joel Corry.

No. Calvin Harris is

The delusion :deadbanana:

Find me another DJ who has explored as many musical genres as Calvin Harris

OT: I wouldn't say he's one of the most basic, but he's evidently stuck in the 2010s with his outdated productions

No, that would be The Chainsmokers. David may seem the most generic, however that is because he is the main EDM artist of 2000s to early 2010s and the first to achieve mainstream success that lasted so long.

His most music is very hooky with a very pop centric formula prioritizing the vocals and melodies than the instrumental.
