Britney/Madonna, Madonna/Marilyn, and Mariah/Whitney comparisons make a lot more sense than Dua/Cher. They are nothing alike career wise or public image wise, aside from having a similar hairstyle once.

I like Dua but this reads as disrespect to Cher, who has began her career before even Dua Lipa's parents were born.

 

Also, Dua is prettier than Cher. Cher looks very Middle Eastern/South Asian to me (not saying this is why I think Dua is prettier, it's just an observation).

Cher is Armenian (a Middle Eastern nation) so your observation is correct. 

I find both Cher and Dua to be stunning beyond belief tbh. They both have a really unique look. I do agree though that Dua is prettier overall.

Honestly while I think Dua is prettier, Cher's beauty is more versatile. She could either be an immortal sorceress or a friend of my great-grandma's from rural Pakistan in the 70s, she fits both niches well.
