Ariana's peak so far in her career is arguably thank u, next

but the era is so short and the album was overshadowed by WWAFA, WDWG and even already surpassed by Lover in total unit sales

 

Considering the hype around her is still big

(she bagged her first #1 in 2019, and it's still 3 years after her first #1, and she has got like 6 #1s ever since)

It makes me wonder, does she still have chance to hit another peak in her career commercially?

 

Sure she is about to hit 30, but Ariana has Lolita appeal too and I think it can benefit her

There are many cases when a popgirl hit another peak in their career. Let's say Mariah with Daydream and TEOM, or Taylor with Fearless and 1989, or Rihanna with GGGB/ANTi

I think its very possible

It won’t happen because of her own laziness

If she tried she could have an era with peaks ala TUN but longevity like ME’s 

Who knows, she better ends up wining AOTY someday 

If she stops being lazy and actually promote her stuff then yes, she can still get a new peak.

She never going to promote her music. 

I think she’s peaked, her celebrity has calmed down a bit since the sweetener/tu,n days but she’ll definitely remain successful. 

She doesn’t care enough to aim for that 

If she collabs with Addison Rae then yes

She should promote her singles longer and then she has a peak era.

Yes if she stops working with Tommy Brown and returns to Max & his team.

Well, it's really hard but not impossible since she's still on the top. But she needs to comeback soon or the hype for her music will be gone. She's not the type of artists who can take a long break and she'd better make it big. 

if she puts in effort, yes, but it's unlikely. You never know tho

Maybe not as big as TUN, artists are fortunate to have one era that big, let alone multiple, but I think her next album will. She's giving us time to miss her (I think she was becoming overexposed at one point, especially after the back-to-back releases). Positions already feels like ages ago even though it's been about two years now. If she releases next year or 2024, I think it will be another big moment for her in her career.

her peak so far is ME, if she does dance pop with a good strategy she would have a new peak, see on SYT

Absolutely, she's still one of the biggest popstars currently.

 

I feel like her career run is similar to Rihanna's in some aspects, like Rih was constantly pumping out albums and singles from 2006-2013, similar to Ariana 2013-2020.

 

Rih had that 3 year break till Anti and came back bigger, better and more mature than before. I can see Ariana doing something similar in her own way. 

 

I think she still has it. I hope she brings it with the next album so I can pretend Positions never happened. 

oh absolutely, her next album will have at least 2 #1s if she plays her cards right! give us another No Tears Left to Cry and we’re back to a highly successful pop girl moment 

It doesn't seem like she's willing to be successful, so I would say no. Does she have it in her? For sure, she has a lot of potential, but she hasn't chased success since Sweetener, she hates doing promo and everything that comes with success so I don't think it's possible.

Yes i think its very possible. She really just needs the right sound this era tho. She needs to figure out whats the proper direction for her post the trap influenced pop music, which doesnt age very well quite frankly. Hence why most of her material sounds dated upon release

Exactly. Women don't fade out at 30, it's just that they start taking more missteps then (Witness, Joanne, Bionic, Britney Jean, Glitter, 30 etc.) or start experimenting more (4, Erotica, Folklore etc.).

 

If you continue to choose good music without many fumbles in your 30s, you're still gonna do well (Come On Over, Up!, LAMB, The Duchess, Ray of Light, Confessions On A Dancefloor, Folklore, Beyonce, The Truth About Love, The Emancipation of Mimi, A Star Is Born, Lemonade etc.).
