It got to #6 on R&B/Hip Hop Airplay, but it didnt have a lot of longevity + the weekly streams werent good

It felt like a big hit to me and my friends. I think that just goes to show that the monoculture is dead and the charts don't really reflect what people are actually listening to, much less remembering.

I think the issue was the pandemic along with management pushing Forgive Me as the next single. Then once they noticed Do It blowing up they made a late remix.

it doesn't sound like a radio hit. 

it does sound like a tiktok hit tho so it deserved to be bigger since it's a bop. 

They should have promoted the original instead of making that messy remix.
