Scrap the entire thing and start from scratch.

1. start from scratch. enlist tame impala to produce the album instead of jack. jack only really excels at 80s synthpop, whereas tame impala excels at psychedelic pop which is what solar power should have been. 

 

2. surprise drop the album. the false promises of an album filled with summer bops during promo made the album look even worse in comparison. sis really described the album as “fun, feral, and free” and made the album artwork her whole bussy just for there to be a song about her dead dog on the album 

Scrap it all together.

 

But if you mean in terms of keeping the same content, I think Mood Ring would have been a stronger lead single.

Yes. Such a shame the best Pop song of 2021 is in one of the worst album of 2021

considering the songs that were up for it, i dont think theres much that can be done. this is an okay album and it performed okayish  so i guess standards were met? 

Mood Ring as lead, let's start there

There's no fixing that album. Doesn't matter what the singles were.

You didn't lie though

I'm still wondering what she meant when she wrote in the e-mail that she wanted to release this album much earlier.

By not releasing it 

delete the files on that crusty laptop, block Jack's number, call another proper psychedelic producer, stop caring about the environment and have a proper album rollout with a completely different theme, let the album actually be "fun, feral and free".

Surprise release it in June and push Mood Ring to playlists and radio as the single. Follow up with Secrets From A Girl
