meh I used to be obsessed with blank space but I can't listen to it anymore.

 

I still listen to 7 Rings to channel my inner bad *****.

It's definitely the bigger song, having sold more, moved more units, outcharted in most markets, and has more streams overall thanks to the 3 BILLION views on its music video. 

 

It's the better song, having been recognised as one of the best pop songs of the 2010s. 7 Rings was only recognised for sampling the Sound of Music, calling fans poor, and the whole cultural appropriation thing. 

 

It's also consistently getting more streams per day on both Spotify and YouTube despite being released in the digital era and over 5 years before 7 Rings.

The time she wrote 7 Rings, her ex (that she still had feelings for) died. Fun songwriting and some champagne nights were her way to escape reality and trauma, imagine being THIS pressed over that...   Some of you are still so bitter over this woman and for nothing.

See, I wouldn't mind this if the song didn't include the line "whoever said money can't solve your problems, must not've had enough money to solve 'em" which is quite literally Ariana calling the listener, who is presumably using the song as some luxury escapist thing and probably doesn't actually have enough money to solve all of their problems, poor

I’m not pressed or bitter, I’m saying others would be if T Swift did this

Is Blank Space, a 5 year older song with much less playlisting, not out-streaming 7 Rings by 300k-400k daily? Would have likely been one of the most streamed songs of all time if Taylor hadn't been so stupidly against streaming when it was released.

 

This is one of the most appropriate times to use the "____ sweetie, I'm so sorry".
