I also had to explain The Infant Kiss to a friend recently as he’s lived his life believing it was about pedophilia… 

Ive been exploring her discography in the past year and she quickly became one of my fave singers. "Never Be Mine" from The Sensual Werld got stuck on my mind for some reason, i love this sing.

Hey Little Bushers  I've been slowly but surely falling in love with HoL for a good year or so now and don't know where to go in Kate's discography. What album would be the best to listen to next?

I feel like Kate is one of those artists that nobody can tell you how to proceed with her discography. For me after getting into Hounds Of Love (which is the obvious coup de coeur for everyone), I fell into The Dreaming immediately, and a user up here is saying to leave it last!!

 

For me it was: 

1. HOL

2. The Dreaming

3. The Sensual World

4. The Kick Inside

5. Never For Ever

6. The Red Shoes (which is funny cause now it's probably my favorite, I found it really hard to love)

7. Lionheart 

 

And in order of preference 

1. The Dreaming

2. The Red Shoes

3. HOL

4. The Kick Inside

5. The Sensual World

6. Never For Ever

7. Lionheart

 

I don't really like her last two albums, I could never get used to her deeper voice  and new sound. Maybe one day, who knows.

I would tap into her debut next! It's probably her most accessible after HoL

It's a crime that Experiment IV isn't on streaming, one of her best pop songs
