totally killer was actually a fun watch. dark harvest is kinda too try hardy almost cringe. but it is visually stunning. sometimes a bit boring at time

'When Evil Lurks' was definitely the more interesting-unique movie of the year, it was refreshing in the 'possession' theme with some creepy situations-scenarios starting from the reveal of the person that got possessed and his awful conditions.

 

However the movie could have been so much better overall, it starts strong and it goes all out at the beginning until the dog scene but in the second half especially with the final school scenes in my opinion it becomes kind of weak, I was expecting more gore-craziness in that part for how it started, it wasn't a masterpiece but definitely a captivating-interesting movie.

Beau is Afraid - 8/10.

Act I - Impeccable.

Act II (holly from the office ) - Amazing.
Act III (jungle) - Lost me, kinda hated it. Felt very Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Act IV - Low-key amazing, but a bit messy.

The Hole in the Ground - 5/10.

The production was great, but the movie felt pointless. Nothing close to ground-breaking, and nothing was really said.

Ex Machina - 8/10.

Amazing movie. I think I've seen it before, way back. I kinda hate-love the way it ended, I'm a sucker for happy endings usually. 

 

But the movie keeps the suspense mostly throughout the entire movie, so it was an easy watch!

False Positive - 6/10.

Kinda tired of these very handsome white men playing husband roles in horror movies. But I'll take it for the hotel scene alone.

 

It felt pretty mediocre at points, considering it's A24, but I was still low-key hooked throughout. Basic movie overall though, and a very obvious "reveal".

I am confused by the rate. Are we supposed to rate the movies by ranking them from 1 to 24 or like any other rate from 1 to 10?

We are ranking them from 1 ( being your personal best ) to 24/28/30 ( being your personal worst ). 
 

Also, I wouldn‘t reveal my opinions on movies included in rate just in case someone gets impulsive and tries to do some form of sabotage one way or another. 
And it also helps the reveal being good time.

lmao, sorry if the rules aren't clear. like @Lemon said, rank them from your most favorite to least favorite, 1 thorugh at least 20. more if you want to. in the rules it says 28 because thats how many movies are in the letterboxd list. I tired to include everything but if there are more movie that you think should be on your list, by all means rank them as well.
