The new aespa track is horrible, honestly. I was never really expecting them to top Red Velvet’s or f(x)’s discography, but I expected WAY more coming from an SM group — who always delivers when it comes to music. Instead, their bsides always have a boygroup-esque sound that really throws me off. I hate it. I wish they would release more stuff like Yeppi Yeppi

Illusion bops. I wasn't expecting them to release anything so soon after announcing that the album is coming in July. 

 

The only thing I don't like is that the next release will be Life is too short and I'm not really interested in that song.

These differences might look minuscule to you as a foreigner but I assure you Koreans have no issue telling those names apart. They’re not just spelled differently - they are different names, pronounced differently. Just cause you as a kpop stan can’t tell them apart doesn’t mean ****

Literally the same can be said for English names like.....? Katy, Kate, Kathy, Katie, Katheryn, Cathy, Catheryn, Kaitlyn, Caitlyn, Kathleen, Kaitlene and however else suburban white moms want to spell it...... So what now???? Since aespa are following the NCT 127 and SUPERM apple music blueprint for their American promotions I hope SM gives us more of this quality content

It’s not their best by any means and the mini itself has way better songs but it’s not that serious  it’s a fun song and I’m happy they’re finally getting the level of success they deserved for so long.

Someone who understands  At least Sunmi's YCSWU rap is lowkey endearing (and iconic) in the hip auntie kind of sense.
