Smh, there was a rumor that they were gonna do radio station promo, but I guess it was just that, a rumor

I agree. I wanted them to renew because I was greedy for the content and music and I just adore BP as a group, but they are so mismanaged, it’s not fair to them. They could’ve been so much bigger if their company would allow them to promote like western new girls do (like Dua, Ari in ther second eras) or if they’d get pushed the same way BTS was. They literally waited to blow up, but this useless company wasted their hype with this abmysmal presence in the music industry. They are at their 2nd album. They are no Beyonce, Rihanna or Ari to hide for 2 years, drop the album and call it a day. They should be everywhere.

I’d rather them being less successful or each of them being on their own than under this thrash company. If they’d stay together that’s great! If they’d decided to go solo - great! Maybe at least two of them would decide to pursue music, but they wouldn’t be restricted with their choices. And if we won’t get any music at all - great, at least I won’t be delusionally waiting on that anymore :rip:

Rośe is the one most likely to leave unless they give her the deal she wants. She can go and land a record deal anywhere right now.

She has loved music and played instruments since she could barely talked. I know she wants to be taken serious as a musician! Jennie may also need a break from all the craziness, but I can feel the fire in her everytime she’s in the US.  The strong bond/sisterhood may persuade them to resign. Jisoo will sign if the other 3 sign, she won’t leave her sistas :monkey:

yessss smash hit

US blinks better pull out all the stops so that the week would be 100% good for BP

I heard the 2 Baddies comeback was a flop? Yet it has already outsold Sticker and is on track to end with 1.1-1.2m first week?

I HATE this f#cking useless scum company that f#cks everything up

you're going to tell me that we're not getting promo but she can't pick up her very first well-earned acting award because of scheduling conflicts??

as if the lack of lines, being pushed to the back and overall mistreatment wasn't enough

yes, Rosie should run up to Republic, she already established herself among western producers and celebrities, she has great connections and is social butterfly… her image would help her to thrive in US

same for Jennie, her it-girl status in Korea slows her down, since her every move is watched, it has to be awful - but she has it in her, she’s more into it every time they are in US

I don’t know about Lisa honestly, she’s not Korean so it could be hard for her in Korea and I’m afraid she wouldn’t be able to stand on her own in the west? but maybe I’m reading that wrong

Jisoo would like it better to be an actress anyway so she’d be good in Korea… but you’re right, I’m not sure if she’d resign if the rest of the girls would extend their contract - but we know them only the way they want us to know them, maybe it looks different behind of the scenes - at the end of the day it’s their job and BIG money, so they for sure think about themeselves in the first place

flop era rumors ENDED :duca:

If only SM didn't f%ck up the digipacks booklets... They could've finish with a lot more copies sold.

I blame Interescope for the tragic US promos not YG. They couldn't even properly release the album. In Europe we have the standard edition, digipacks, jewel cases and cassettes (even more expensive than US but still) :rip:

Album era has the female CEO i think (correct me if im wrong)

No idea why the YG brother is back and why is he not jailed

YG has two CEOs now apparently, the woman and brother :rip:. That's what it says in my album credits.

Blackpink are selling signed digital copies for 3.99. They are really desperate for that #1 :dies:

you might have a point, I saw digipacks and jewel cases on the shelves on the release day :rip: and jewel case has the same price as any other new release

what was the point of sending them to US? they didn’t have any interview on Kimmel, they could pre record the performance and attend music shows or record some variety in Korea, that would be at least something
