it was fanmade and it was autotuned to fit the melody  the demo was titled Blame It On Your Love and was meant for their first album.

I think it's because 2NE1 doesn't feel manufactured, I love BP but they seem more like they're a part of a big machine which is the pop industry whereas 2NE1 felt more genuine idk if that makes sense

Maybe but at the time, YG was more about promoting artistry and YG groups are more often seen as artists rather than idols
