First of all THANK YOU sis  2nd of all...I just googled him and he is 32?!?! how on earth  literally looks 22-24. A hunk tbh

The way 2NE1 really was the blueprint for BP. Like their music from over a decade ago lowkey eats them up so bad Ain’t even a hot take. BP is way more visual and better with MV’s tho. But the charisma is incomparable.  

would be cool if they sampled 2NE1 in a song one day, similar to how 2NE1 Sampled a classic Korean song in Comeback home.

yeah 32 for Korean men is not that old in terms of appearance tbh. Plus he is a good actor too, To My Star is literally one of the best produced Korean BLs along with Semantic Error, and he does a great job in it.

yeah the charisma from 2NE1 is insane. They are the blueprint for every girl group who tries the girl crush concept in general. The thing they have which other girl groups are kind of lacking is the sense of confidence and REAL edge. Like you can tell they have been through ish and their aura and vibes match their concepts. Also lots of stage presence.

Love my 2NE1 girlies but their music is 200x more dated than BP's

I still bop to them every now and then but lets be honest here

I need to check him out and those shows you mentioned. I havnt watched a k-drama in AGES and my last BL was a chinese one like 3 years ago...maybe even more  I just kind of avoid them cuz they get me in my feels being single and all

Oh yes you definitely should. Past BLs used to go for that typical cliche route with not much creativity but the BLs nowadays, especially the Korean ones and those two I mentioned were short/low budget but really effective in conveying the subject matter and emotions. That’s proof that all you need is a good script, good screenplay, good actors and good background score to hit it out of the park.

It’s even crazier when you think about how ive and NewJennies have way less material than Itzy and aespa….and they haven’t even pushed for the west like the other two have (although Attention is on TTH but that’s it)

When the original AIIYL demo came out it was RIDDLED with autotune. BP's sounds better because they had no autotune, but everything else was the same (melody, instrumental, etc.). Same for Forever Young
