She needs to play some deluxe songs - Nobody's Girl and Trying on shoes maybe. Also dear God and purple lace bra. And Siren Sounds is the biggest album track so that probably makes it by default. She played 15 songs at Lollapalooza in South America, so she'll probably do around that.

No, because she is only playing 1 hour 15 minutes , so I think 10-11 songs max.

She played 15 songs with 1 hour at Lollapalooza's in south america last year and 16 songs with 1 hour at Lollapalooza chicago in 2024

Siren sounds and JKW smashing both being Think Later rejects just makes me wonder. Same with IOIO. She really had a mega smash album on her hands with Think Later if she committed fully to that vision.

i mean they're hits but it's only siren sounds of those that's really good, JKW is fine but a bit generic, IOIO was pretty weak, definitely think later needed more upbeat material but i'd expect there to be better in the vaults (i'm sure that someone knows, i've never gone thru the leaks)

I think siren sounds is weak too tbh. But all 3 would have been an improvement over the slower snoozes on think later. The narrative around TL was always that it's unfocused because it was rushed to capitalise on greedy. But she had enough upbeat material to make a full cohesive album around greedy, even though the songs are a tad generic. girl's gone cold and good at what i do are my favourites. Too good and get what i want also did numbers on tiktok.

It's interesting, because I think there was never a better window for her to take over than when think later released. Chappell and Sabrina had not yet emerged, so everyone was looking at her as potentially the third Gen Z pop queen. A fully upbeat think later would have been her "Dua Lipa", a collection of basic bops that smashed, paving the way for her to do something more inventive with the follow-up.

i think there's a real sense of "which way tate?!" about it, do you throw yr lot in with the big viral hit of (at that time) unproven longevity or do you stick with yr loyal fans who are still expecting some sort of YBMF2

and tbh there's not always much wrong with the midtempo material on think later (tho bits of it feel undercooked in the production): it makes a reasonably coherent album in the end and i can imagine that the stuff that made the tracklist were the ones they'd actually put some effort into with an eye to putting her into that lane (which at that point she seems comfortable pursuing and is writing plenty of good material in)

I think in many ways this show was more elevated than MPT. I love that she changed it up. The choreo, visuals, her aura on stage, the production value were all insane.

I will say that doing a Greek-themed performance in casual clothes is a choice, and the setlist seemed heavier on the midtempos.
