That being said, I still feel like none of the choreography she gets is anywhere near her full potential as a dancer. I get that the difficulty level has to be lower because she's singing live but it's odd that a lot of her biggest strengths as a dancer - fluidity, control, movement quality, musicality are exactly what's not showcased in her choreography as a pop girl. Feel like sh1t music video, and Sports Car VMAs is the closest anyone has gotten to capturing what makes her dancing special.

yeah a thing i remember thinking about the last tour that it was a bit like she was trying too hard to pull as much choreo in as possible? i'd get the sense in some songs that it was supposed to be the main attraction - like it was a reaction to criticism about not having done enough before (she's always swung back and forth) - and she was almost becoming her own back up dancer rather than it feeling like a tate performance

definitely agree that the show as a whole feels a lot more elegant now too, and just the fact that she's singing so much really elevates her onstage presence? like she has so much starpower and it was threatening to get lost, it's great to see how natural it feels to see her owning the headline slot in front of that massive crowd.

she does feel a bit less involved than she has at times in her best one-off performances but i think this is definitely the best balance i've seen over a full show
