Those random vma noms are definitely a sign she will perform (the new single) 🤭 i do wonder if she will release the lead in September, will we get another winter album 🧐 i just want her to have one era in the spring/summer with a big summer hit. Is that too much too ask?

finally watched about half of the lollapolooza show (missed it when it got took down the first time but a kind friend has brought it up for me), will watch the rest tomorrow. obvs its great but the thing that struck me is that her choreo has really improved from the last show i saw on video? (liverpool radio 1 show last year)

it's less busy now and she feels much more centred in it all, she hits the middle ground between putting on a show and commanding the stage much better. and am i screaming along to siren sounds with the 16 y/o girls? yes yes that's me

It really has. The choreography is more fluid, and she's the focal point. The dancers were staged/choreographed around her perfectly. Also, the choreography was a lot more elevated/ethereal than her usual stuff, which has a pedestrian element to it. Funny thing is her tasteless TikTok fans were complaining that the new choreo is terrible and she shouldn't have changed it.

That being said, I still feel like none of the choreography she gets is anywhere near her full potential as a dancer. I get that the difficulty level has to be lower because she's singing live but it's odd that a lot of her biggest strengths as a dancer - fluidity, control, movement quality, musicality are exactly what's not showcased in her choreography as a pop girl. Feel like sh1t music video, and Sports Car VMAs is the closest anyone has gotten to capturing what makes her dancing special.
