Crowded Room is such a special song. 

 

Rare is such a beautiful album because it deals with looking at Sex and Love from a very insecure perspective and actively working to change your mindset of self-doubt into a mindset of self-worth and confidence.

 

and that is something that I work on every day.

 

having an artist like Selena that so openly talks about this and has music that reflects this attitude is beautiful and i'm grateful.

 

so excited for the next album!!

Wish OMITB could win best comedy, but Ted Lasso is still on

I think she'll get an actress nom eventually

Disappointed that she didn't get an acting nom. The producing nom is nice, but isn't the same. Atleast I don't see anyway she doesn't attend still.

 

 

 

OMITB is one of the top series 

 

We discussed before how it was expected she wasn't going to be nominated for actress simply because this is her first year on the run with an acclaimed show. I'm sure she'll get it next year, for example, Sydney Sweeney got her first nom now with Euphoria's season 2 

Oh I hope selena gets one someday I am worried she going to suffer the curse of JLO effect. 

 

we’re jlo is massively successful with movies but she gets no recognition within the industry. 

No solo nom 

 

Oh well, at least she got a nom as producer. This is amazing 

 

 

I think she has a better chance with season 2 tbh. 
Also, the snub  can help her build a good narrative for the next award season.

She’s still an Emmy nominee which is great! Hopefully this makes her deliver an even better performance on S3. She has been good so far on S2 but I know she can do even better! 
Can’t wait to see her at the Emmys in September among all those great actors. Hopefully she can present a category too. 
Next up is her birthday, excited to see what she does! 

How can Steve Martin and Martin Short get nominated but she gets IGNORED?

She has the rest of 2022 “free” and since it does not look like any of the movies confirmed are close to entering production, I think she will spend the second half of the year on music.

Look I was no fan of her acting but she was the most deserving of the three because no one expected less from Martin and Short. I was impressed that she was not only able to keep up with their greatness but thinking how how comedic giant they are and not only fit in but make them look even better, that was her Emmy nomination deserve moment (maybe not win but at least a nom).

she hasn’t posted about the noms yet. i’m sure she will tomorrow but i think she’s upset

 

i remember when she was snubbed for SAG it took her awhile to post their noms and then she ignored SM’s “selena you are the trio” or whatever tweet
