Rare is such a beautiful album because it deals with looking at Sex and Love from a very insecure perspective and actively working to change your mindset of self-doubt into a mindset of self-worth and confidence. and that is something that I work on every day. having an artist like Selena that so openly talks about this and has music that reflects this attitude is beautiful and i'm grateful. so excited for the next album!! She has been good so far on S2 but I know she can do even better! Can’t wait to see her at the Emmys in September among all those great actors. Hopefully she can present a category too. I was impressed that she was not only able to keep up with their greatness but thinking how how comedic giant they are and not only fit in but make them look even better, that was her Emmy nomination deserve moment (maybe not win but at least a nom).
