Though she has her moments, her performance overall feels rusty. It doesn’t help that her locked jaw also restricts her. Selegend Posted July 14, 2022 Share Posted July 14, 2022 of course she's stiff, of course she's weird, that's Mabel omg she's not a teenage wizard!!!!!!! she has to be weird, mabel is literally NOT a happy person!!!!! oh my god she wasn't 10/10 on season 1 but she was VERY essential to the show and had some high HIGH moments like ep2 and some others moments. and she's 10/10 for me on season 2, already 4 episodes and for me her acting is even better than season 1, it's perfect. i wouldn't change a thing... if mabel was outgoing like alex russo that would be bad acting. it wouldn't match. selena_lavigne Posted July 15, 2022 Share Posted July 15, 2022 i know it may still be a while but anticipating the new albums coming out tonight and on July 29th is reminding me of what it's like to anticipate a new Selena album. i'm so happy that she continues to say she is working on "her album". also, does anyone know if she played unreleased songs at her Rare Beauty events? cuz in one of the videos of her meeting fans i very vaguely heard a song in the background that kinda sounded like her. maybe i'm just imagining what i want but a boy can dream. selena_lavigne Posted July 17, 2022 Share Posted July 17, 2022 Rare was a pretty big album. what it didn't have was a good marketing team and the visuals were terrible. thus it didn't reach the audience it could have. Revelacion was a huge step in the right direction in terms of visuals and marketing but everything else was lacking. i hope they take the good from both of those albums and make something that is strong on all levels. An album doesn't even need that much, give it a few months of promo and the right singles and that's enought for it keeping going for itself for at least a year. So yeah, the doc is the major card here and can't be wasted.
