Esteves? I agree with your points about KLB and Duncan, if I lived in GA I think I'd probably go for Esteves. He's been struggling with name ID, but his fundraising has been solid so far so maybe he'll have a chance come election time.

The idea is that it would be incredibly expensive for a candidate to campaign across all states so you end up heavily favoring the high name recognition or well-funded candidate, which as we know isn't always the best option. Not that our current primary system is flawless, far from it, but I do think it's better than a single primary. I fear they have Jolly's 43% vote share ceiling exactly correct, it's just republican voters not committed to a single candidate so far. Donalds is still securing the nomination unfortunately but ideally we'd get Fishback launching a bitter independent campaign after losing, and even better would be Jay Collins running independently too but that's super unlikely cause even Collins isn't that big of a loser

speaking of Shapiro… he's kind of insufferable. first, I don't understand why he wants to be attached to a losing campaign so badly, but I guess he feels like he really has to go after front runner Harris, even though I guess at this point the front runner is Newsom and of course this is generating some of the "omg democrats hate the Jews!!" responses, which make me feel crazy because it's a perfectly valid question to ask someone who has volunteered for a foreign military, Israeli or any other country's for that matter.

Also there was Cardi endorsing Kamala, she was on twitter having a kii with her fans about it, and her fans said it was only because of Cardi, but it was very apparent she was attacking her from a MAGA pov. there's also that lawsuit from her bodyguard looming over her head after her husband punched the bodyguard and called him a slur, that she has yet to pay him the court-ordered restitution. I don't know how that's going to end up but she's clearly angling for "the EVIL and DEMONIC democrats are targeting me for my Christian Conservative beliefs!!" hence her recent rants against Gavin Newsom.

I'm not sure about MTG running for potus just yet, but I do believe she still wants to run for senate, and is very bitter about Trump/ the White House withholding their endorsement of her. Like we know Trump is super "generous" when it comes to endorsing absolute unelectable freaks as long as they're maga loyalists like Kari Lake, Doug Mastriano, Roy Moore, etc. so Trump denying MTG an endorsement has definitely stung her given how much of a maga champion she's been in the past. I'm speculating that Trump told her no because he thinks MTG would lose in a landslide against Ossoff, since she's a little too crazy for a statewide run in GA (he's not wrong!) So I think she's on this rebrand tour to appear more moderate (and not crazy) before she announces her senate campaign bucking the White House's wishes to stand down in this race, and with her high name ID (and the low standards of republican primary voters), she can win the nomination, while the Trump-backed Mike Collins fights it out with the GA-governor hand-picked capertbagger candidate, Derek Dooley.
